I've am having a problem with 3 computers running windows XP pro here at work that print locally and through the network. Every now and then when I try and print something I get a print spooler error. I have checked the print spooler service and it has NOT stopped. If i restart my computer then i can print again until a few hours later or so, then I would have to restart again.

Does anyone know what I should do?

We have had the same issue. It turned out to be our McAfee virus protection. We have had to tell McAfee to exclude scanning the C:\windows\system32\spool folder. Hope this helps.
