Restart Numbering in Numbered Paragraphs 1

I am using MSW2007. I have a paragraph format which uses simple, sequential numbering of paragraphs. If I finish one list and wish to start another, the numbering in the second list continues from the first.

How do I restart the numbering?

Hi OfficeAnimal,

Simply right-click on the paragraph mark for the paragraph you want to restart from '1', then choose 'Restart at 1'.

Alternatively, you might find that using Word's Heading Styles gives you the flexibility you need.
