Restart in INSTALL MODE!! What happends? IE won't start for some user

Hi all, I believe a Windows 2000 TS (Running MF 1.8) was rebooted in install mode. I know that is never supposed to happend, but I'm not sure what the consequences are. Do any of you know what happends when a W2K TS is rebooted in Install mode? Also, on the same server, people have said their Internet Explorer will not start for them - just gives them that lovely "W2K crash error" and gives you the option to send an error report. The strange thing is that deleting the profile helps, but only for a while - it soon comes back. only happening to about 1/3 of the users. Any idea on this one? Perhaps they are related?
