I work in finance and write Financial Statement Generator (FSG) reports for financial statements, etc., but our IS department refuses to support questions related to these reports or even view them as a useful tool to support our Oracle Reporting users. Their main complaint is that the reports hog system resources while running. I am trying to obtain information to dispute their claims, such as: Do you use FSG reports? How many FSG reports does your company use? Does the IS department support them? Are they truly the resource hog I am told they are? Thanks for your help!
