Following lots of digging I'm putting a plea out to try and get a simple solution to my resource pooling reporting problem.

I have a central resource pooling project file that we're sharing amongs varous project files. the resource file JUST has resource information so no tasks.

I can view an overall resource usage using "View, Resource Usage". However it doesn't seem possible to produce a simple report which shows each resource by week, day or month, and the actual or planned hours for each week, day or month and resource.

I found the following link, through tek-tips, which talks about using the analyse timescaled data toolbar. This generates the basic data but needs lots of manipulation to generate the appropriate graphs or summary list. This could be macro coded, but it seems silly that it can't be simple to generate directly in project 2003.

Does anyone have any macros or quick guide on how to generate this type of appropriate - all pointers appreciated - i'm really struggling with "view, reports" tool to get what i need
thanks
Ben
