Is this happening for anyone else? I am running MS Project Pro 2013 on a Win7 machine with 6 GB Ram and no issues. I'm managing a large project and the Resource Usage view is very clunky. In particular, when I have a resource that has a large number of assignments - that extend down past the bottom of the screen - I can't scroll down. The scroll function, whether activated by the mouse on the side bar, or by just arrowing downwards, won't show all the assignments. Can't think of a what's causing this , and have never noticed it before.

Just updated the August 2015 update (at There were no glitches updating, but I'm still having the same problem. That is, it's fine in every view except Resource Usage. I can move around just fine in the present screen, highlighting any presently viewable assignment. But either arrowing down below the page bottom, or trying to move the scrolling bar results in no movement of the frame. This happens even though arrowing down clearly results in getting to highlight the next row down, etc. But the view-frame doesn't move, so I can't follow and see what's being highlighted. Also, once this failure-to-scroll starts to happen, the cursor acts a bit strangely. For example, hitting the collapse/expand point (the little triangles to the left of the Name) works fine, until I try to scroll, then it doesn't work. Restoring that functionality is doable by changing to Gantt view, and back to Resource Usage view.

I don't know if this is relevant, but the instructions in the update article say that SP-1 must be installed as a prerequisite. I tried to do so, but the SP-1 program indicated that "there are no Office 2013 programs installed which need to be updated". That's sorta true and sorta not: I run Office 2010 on the computer (Win 7 Pro OS), which predates the Project Pro 2013 installation. But the version of Project I have is a 2013 Office product.

Any thoughts/referrals/help would be useful. Thanks

Have you customized the view in any way? You might try saving the current view as a new view and then re-setting the Resource Usage view to default.

Just tried it, This has no effect on the problem :(

All I can think of is to delete/reinstall the program. What a pain. As if something got corrupted...

Before reinstalling - try a repair. Does this happen with all files or just one? If it is just one - it may be the file is corrupt - not Project.
