resource meter

If you're talking about the meter that shows available memory, how much is used, and even network bandwidth useage, that's on the task manager now.. CTRL-ALT-DEL, under the Performance Tab at the top. If you want it running as an icon, just minimize the task manager, and it will stay down there in the system tray, and continuously monitor resource useage.

Windows NT (including XP, Windows NT 5.1) does not manage and allocate GDI resources the way DOS/Windows (3.x, 9x) did. Therefore the 9x "resource meter" would be irrelevant.

If you want to start the task manager (always nice to know what processes are running), just enter
