Resource manager database problems

While I am not sure how to answer your question directly, I can suggest an alternative if you do not get an answer from anyone that is helpful. SysTrack 2.01 from Lakeside Software, Inc. collects and manages resource data much more efficiantly than RM does. To see what I mean, you might visit their website: Lakeside offers SysTrack as an upgrade to RM. I hope this helps.

What are your Purge settings - if you do not purge historical data regularly, any data collection service will generate a large database over time - including Systrack!
