Hi:

My anti-virus quarrantined/repaired a bunch of files and I had to reload some of my softwares including windows 98 upgrade.
I reloaded VFP7 and it works (and my program I have been working on works). . .but I get an error window when I start Fox with:

Resource file is not valid
Overwrite it with a new empty one?

[Yes] [No]

My vfp7 opens in fox, but not to my default directory?
(I have the defaults set in options to my directory. . .)

Any idea what this is and what's is causing it?

THX for any feedback.

Bill

PS I would love to get face to face with those that
write viruses/worms!!!!!!!!if you know what I mean?
Reminds me of dog's hydraulics and fire hydrants! [evil]

HI
The FoxUser.* files have a write attribute set to READ only. If you set it back to REeadWrite, you will not be asked this question anymore.
The file under question will be sitting in your default working directory or in VFPs directory.
Hope this answers your question :) ramani :-9
