Resource Driven Not Task Driven?

Hi

I'm currently working with a project that doens't really use tasks as such only in a list format top line sort of way, the people aren't interested in GANTT charts etc and the only reason they use Project is because of the resources.(I know there are better tools for the job but we're stuck with this one!)

I'm looking on how best to use Project as Resource Driven rather than Task Driven - is it possible?

You'll need to be a bit more specific about what you want as outputs -- or how you want to drive inputs.

It seems to me that the best thing is still to enter the tasks and assign resources but then View | Task Usage or View | Resource Usage to get the information displays it seems you need.
