We have Exchange 5.5 on NT 4.0 and Outlook 2000, 2002, and 2003 for client applications. The resource calendars have been set up to automatically accept the meeting requests and everybody has 'author' permission for the calendars. We have multiple Resource Calendars set up and people have been using it without any problem.

The problem I have now is trying to set up recurring meetings involving these resource calendars. When we attempt to set up recurrent meetings, we get the following message - "Conf Rm 1 has declined your meeting because it is recurring. You should book each meeting separately with this resource".

Is recurring meetings something that the resource calendar simple cannot handle or is there some way around this problem?

Thank you for your assistance.

Log into Outlook with the resource profile. Go to Tools >> Calendar Options >> Resource Scheduling. Uncheck "Automatically decline recurring meeting requests
