Hi,
I'm a bit of a novice and just cannot work out how to get MSP2003 to do what I need! Which is :

The project will have 3 teams working on it.
Each team will work on each task together.
The percentage of the work done per team on each task will vary per task but I know these percentages.
Each task must be completed within a fixed duration.
The total number of person days for each task has been determined and will also need to stay fixed.

I need to enter the duration, amount of work and the percentage of each task that will be performed by each team
so that MSP calculates the number of workdays to be performed on each task for each team and therefore also calculateshow many people need to be allocated to each task per team.

Example task :

What I know is that :
Duration = 20 days
Work = 100 days
Team A will complete 50% of the work
Team B will complete 40% of the work
Team C will complete 10% of the work

I need MSP to calculate the number of workdays per team as :
Team A = 50 days
Team B = 40 days
Team C = 10 days and that therefore the resource requirement from each team is

Team A = 50 / 20 = 2.5 people
Team B = 40 / 20 = 2 people
Team C = 10 / 20 = 0.5 people.

Apologies if this is basic but I can't see how to do it and would very much appreciate any help.

Many thanks
Eagle
