I am looking from a hint from anybody as to how I may do this.
I am looking to have a master and subprojects project where each person in the team will create their own project(sub) and the overall team will be the Master. I am looking to calculate for each member in the master how much of their time has be allocated so I manager of the Dept make look up and allocate the next project to the person with the lowest % allocated.
Would appreciate any help at all

From what you have said it looks like you need a resource pool. I have managed something similar whereby I have 9 projects being managed in my team and would like to see where my resources are allocated and how much time they are working on these projects.

Basically create a blank project plan with no information in it. Save it as 'Team Resource Pool.mpp' for instance. Keeping your 'Team Resource Pool' open go into each of you team members perspective project plans and go to 'Tools' then 'Resources' and click on 'Share Resources'.

A new dialog box will appear called 'Share Resources' click the tick box next to 'Use Resources' and then select the 'Team Resource Pool.mpp' from the 'From' list.

This will now list all of your resources and their tasks for that project on the 'Team Resource Pool.mpp'. To view these open the 'Team Resource Pool.mpp' project plan and select the 'Resource Usage View' to successfully view all resources and their project allocations.

Continue this process on all your project plans you wish to report to you 'Team Resource Pool'
