Resolving Group Names

I have this problem where if I open a group which contains many groups from other domains, the names of the groups do not appear in friendly terms. They appear as CN= S - 1 - F etc etc but when I open the same group on another DC on another SITE the friendly names appear.

Does anyone know why this is?
