resolution in director

here is a relativley unimportant question...

when i export my movie out of director, does it compress/change the resolution of my images to 72 dpi?
or should i do that before i import them?

I'm no expert on Director, but I don't see why it wouldn't change rez to 72dpi. You should always reduce art to 72dpi before importing into Director to reduce filesize!
