Resizing PDF - how can I get rid of orphan lines? 1

I have a PDF document of 4 pages. Page 1 is full, but page 2 has only one line at the top. Page 3 is full, but page 4 has only two lines at the top.

How can I force this to only two pages, where the odd-numbered pages will "take in" the orphan lines on the even-numbered pages?

You need to solve that problem in the application that you created the PDF from. Change the margins so the orphan lines are absorbed into the preceding pages, and it becomes a two page document in the originating application. Then the PDF will become two pages also.
If you don't have access to the orignal application, you could export or Save As from Acrobat Pro to a Word Document, fix things there so there are two pages, and then create a fresh version of the PDF.

Thanks! I don't have the original document so I tried what you suggested, saving in Microsoft Word, fixing and then exporting back to Adobe PDF.

Some very minor formatting was changed in the process, but overall this was very helpful. Thanks!!
