I recently installed RedHat 7.2, with all filesystems defined as ext3...
What is the easiest way to resize partitions, AFTER the initial install?
SuSE Linux has a wonderful LVM interface, that works quite nicely from a very User Friendly GUI...
The LVM configuration is available from the initial installation, and from the GUI, post install...
Why hasn't RedHat come up with the equivalent?
They're supposed to be number one, yet are sorely lacking in several areas, and behind many of the other distributors...
The ONLY reason I use RedHat, is because so many companies are using them...
I still haven't figured out why!!!
Anyway, back to my original question...
How do I resize partitions after the initial installation...
Example: 6 months down the road, my /oracle partition fills up, and I need to add more disks...
How do I do this "easily"?
