Resizing of Layer image 1

Help please!
I am cutting and pasting an image into a new layer. How do I resize the pasted image?
I have been playing around with this for over a week now and I cannot find the answer.

Hit Shift + S to open the Resize dialog or go to Image - Resize. Uncheck "All layers" and only the pasted image/active layer will be resized.

Thank you jconingham, that has sorted it...
I never saw the 'Uncheck "All Layers" box. My eyes are getting dim with age.

Another way is to use the raster deform tool (second from the top in the tool pallette). You can drag the image around and nudge the x and y scaling up and down until it's how you want it.
