I designed a program in access and I want it to fit on the display area of the monitor. At the moment when I openned it in another computer I have to scrol the form up and down. What is the command or how do I resize a form?

Hi shaminda
Resizing the form is straight forward, and can be done by dragging the edges of the form out, or in, to achieve the desired result.
Use an imported background it is for friendly in appreance, and resizing. Also remove all unnessary toolbars to maximise the working area.
It is also a good idea to open your forms with a macro using the maximise instruction in your list . this isures the screen always looks the same on open.

Hope this is of some help..let me know.

Shamida, I gather you have different video resolutions on these different machines and would like the program to automatically size the forms for the machine they are being run on.

I have a book that I recommend titled "Access 97 Developer's Handbook" by Litwin, Getz and Gilbert (SYBEX) that offers a solution to this. I really suggest getting it, as it has helped me many times and comes with a lot of example code. I can zip the example and send it to you if you email me.

If it is helpful to you, I do suggest you purchase your own copy to give back to the authors...

Ever notice that by the time that you realize that you ran a truncate script on the wrong instance, it is too late to stop it?
