Hi there,

Im trying to create a dialogue-style form - but I cant get it to a small size - it goes full screen when viewed as a form, with no controls to resize - Ive tried various options in the form properties, but to no avail.

please help!

many thanks,
Neil

If you want it to open as a dialogue form, specify this in docmd.OpenForm. For example,
docmd.OpenForm "frm1",,,,,acDialog

If you just need it to be a Dialogue style, but it is not opened as a Dialog form, then the form will be maximized if another form was maximized. In Access, if one form is maximized, all other forms will be. Check this link

Seaport

Or add in custom code in the onload event of the form, specifying how you want it to load - maximized, restore, minimized, a specific size, etc...

Did you try any of seaport's suggestions so far?

See? "Full screen" ... constantly expanding ... it's the black hole issue. I better scoot before they remove me for whatever-you-call-what-I'm-doing.
