Hello

I'm wanting to resize large high quality digital stills to PAL dimensions. However on doing this i'm losing resolution. When zooming in on the resized images they have become more pixelated than the orignals. I have tried the resize assistant but the same problem occurs!

Any thoughts?

Cheers

I don't do much (any) video work so you'll have to tell me what resolution and pixel dimensions you're work is going to be (PAL) and what resolution and pixel dimensions the source material is.

Generally though for resizing (in Photoshop)down you should use either Bicubic Sharper or Bicubic according to the image(Bicubic Sharper is preferable but may over-sharpen the image), and Bicubic Smoother for enlarging (try to enlarge in 10% increments. IE: enlarge 10%, then another 10% and so on).

Moe: It could have been a real ugly situation, but luckily I managed to shoot him in the spine.
