Resizing bitmaps for Image Control

I have an icon and a bitmap of a CD that I would like to place on a form. When I use the Image.Picture control to import the bitmap of the CD I cannot resize it to a size larger than the original size of the bitmap. Can anyone advise? I have tried going into Paint and resizing the bitmap but I feel that I should be able to resize via VB??

I found the answer: there is a stretch property that needs to be enabled for the image control.

An Image control has a property named stretch, if you set this property to true
Image1.Stretch = True
the picture will be stretched to the size of the control.
