The easiest way to do this is to use a program like Micorlite BackupEdge, or LoneTar by Lone Star Software. Both have the ability to make Recover floppies. What you do is backup the system to tape, user the recover floppies to reboot. The recover floppies have utilities to allow you to change the Unix partition size and restore the Unix system.
