Hello,
How could I resize the system partition (C:\) on a WIN2003 Server ?
Partition magic do not work, what else.
The server is with RAID1 mirror configured.

Reinstall!

I would never do this on a production server, I would be able to trust the stability.

I would use Ghost to image the partions to dvd or a spare hard drive. When restoring the images you can increase the partion sizes on the fly. you may need 2 bigger hard drives because i know you can increase the partion size but i dont if you can reduce a partion size. Meaning im not sure you can increase C:\ and reduce D:\ if you reuse the existing drives, i have only ever increased all partions.

RoadKi11

Roadki11 is right, if you have plenty of disk space left or you add new disks you can inrese the size of system partiiton.
I may be wrong but if you want to use exsisting disks only try converting your disk into dyanmic disk then you can increase the size of any partition on fly.

Acronis will safely resize the RAID drives however, the software costs more than two new drives.

Regards,
David
