resize objects for browser in flash

I am wondering how to have certain elements resize to browser width or height, while retaining the size of bitmaps.

Can anyone point me to a tutorial or supply sample code?

not quite sure what you are trying to do

you can publish using percentages but that will scale everything

or you can publish at movie size and adjust the html/css to have the movie aligned in a particular way (eg centered) in any size browser window

or do you just want to detect the browser size and then resize certain elements

i suspect its some sort of combination of the above you are looking for so supply some more info

I am looking to keep some of the movies loading into the container movie at the same size while resizing other movies in the container movie.

For instance, I want the background to rescale, but not the content in the middle. Does this help explain what I am trying to do?
