Resize image and get updated dimensions in texbox

Hello All,

I have been spending the last 2 days searching for a way to implement the following :
Resize dynamically an image and get its dimensions updated in a textbox. That means if I resize an image by dragging its borders, the new size should update in the box, and vice versa.
Does anyone know a script I could inspire myself from?

It's the dragging (to resize) that is a bit tricky. Prototype and Scriptaculous can do this kind of thing - although they are not so much scripts as entire frameworks based on javascript.

Maybe take a look at the scriptaculous web site and take it from there.
