Resize a shape with actionscript

Hi everyone,

I made an lshape which i was looking forward to for a long time!! This L shape has 6 handles defining it's corners. However when you click on one corner, the line connecting this handle to the other is being dragged and the other handle remains in place.
What I would like to do, is resize the shape when I click on the handle itself, or on the line itself, without changing the shape (it has to remain an L). Thanks a lot in advance - Richard
