Hi,

would it be possible to make a SIP Device to be resilient (Using single line license)?

MiVB 10.1

This is for a Hotel environment, they require Vtech SIP Phone to fail over in case the Primary Controller goes down.

Please advise if you have an idea to accomplish this.

Regards,

Daniel

does the vtech phone support dns-srv ?
i have no systems with single line licenses to test with

can you add a secondary mivb to the extension?
if the mivb allows it to be made resilient then it should work and its down to the adjustment on the sip device to allow it to fail to a secondary fqdn
you will probably need it to to supply the seperate MIVB fqdns

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
