Hi all,

Okay DUUUHHH me ;-)

I was resetting user rights on a folder, instead of adding the admin grouop first with their appropriate rights, I accidentally added the restricted rights usergroup first and hit apply.

Logically, the admin group no longer can change the rights now or take ownership etc. etc.

Is there a way to correct/reverse this without having to use too rigorous measures ?

I thought that the machine or domain admin should still be able to take ownership of the files. You might have to do it from one step higher in the directory tree though.

Thanx kmc..that was the thing I missed...I did a take ownership and that worked
