So it's just the UGW card you need to reset, not the entire system.
To reset a card you do the following (need level 3 password):
*: pbus 4 3
SHELF#- 0
SLOT# - 1
CKT# -
OPC - fch
PRAMS (pr1,pr2...) -()
Q (Y/N)-
Q#-
GO(Y/N)- y
** MSG SENT
However this doesn't work for a couple of cards - any voicemail card, SKK or UGW. Voicemail cards run their own OS eg uCMC, WiCMC have Windows 2000 so resetting them is done inside Windows, not in the Coral PI.
To reset the entire system:
Go to SIZ_TAB (root,0,0,0,2,0) and enter until you get to the following prompt where you enter Y and press Enter:
UPDATE *warning* system init (Y/N)? Y
This will not default the database, merely reset the system as if you'd powered it down or press the Reset button on the MCP/MEX (but I'd do a save to flash in root,0,10,2 just in case!)
To reset a UGW card:
IP,0,1,0 then enter the shelf/slot of the UGW card (in the case of an IPx Office, the CUGW is in slot 6/5. Don't change anything, just go to the end where you get the following prompt:
*Warning : Change of any port CAPACITY will reset all Card ports *
UPDATE(Y/N) ? - Y
type Y and press Enter.
the reset doesn't happen instantaneously so don't expect it to....after pressing Enter it takes about 10-15s before the phones will reset, then another 10-15s before the UGW resets, then about another 10-15s for the card to come back and the phones a few secs later. Monitor in CLIS,4 to see the state of the card - it will go from ACTIVE to WAIT_DB then back to ACTIVE when it's all good again.
Hope this clarifies a lot.
