We are switching venders. If the T1 does not restart after switching what is the process of restarting the T1. If there is a Trick to a smooth switch over that info would be great to. This is for a Option 11 Thanks in advance.

You have to use ld 96 to diable the D cahnnel before you can disable t1 in ld 60 - so you may want to ID those prior to the cut. in ld 96 DIS DCH # go to LD 60 DISL loop# then you should be able to ENLL loop# and the DCH should come up automatically. If you are running to another PBX you may need to bounce it on both ends pretty much about the same time - I have had to battle them from time to time to get them to bounce back.

If the T-1's are like for like just unplug from one smart jack and plug into the other. You wont have do disable D-channels unless it is a PRI.

After the T1 is back up, I like to clear the counters in LD 60 (RCNT) so as to have a good "monitoring for errors" starting point.
