Is it possible to reset the value of the SessionID during the same session?

I am creating a simple shopping cart system and I am using the Session.SessionID for a unique key to link the order summary information to the order detail information. Once a user submits an order and the data goes to the database then I want to be able to reset the SessionID for their next order.

i dont know of any way to reset the session id besides to abandon the first session and start a new one. adam@aauser.com

I would look for a different solution to your database schema problem. One that does not use the SessisonID.
