In your group header, put a formula that sets the counter to zero.
WhilePrintingRecords ;
NumberVar MyCounter := 0

Put a formula to display the correct rank by the name.
WhilePrintingRecords ;
NumberVar MyCounter := MyCounter + 1

Malcolm Wynden
wynden@island.dot.net

Thanks Malcolm, that did the trick.

Scott

Malcolm,

I'm glad to have found your replies regarding record numbers. I'm a total newby in regards to Crystal 7. I tried the above suggestions but I'm not exactly sure where to start. Could you tell me exactly where I need to put the formula? What do I click to insert a formula? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks! [sig][/sig]

Eureeeekaa!!! I tried it and it worked! Thanks Malcolm. Disregard the above message. [sig][/sig]
