resetting CP Login Password

I am trying to access a BCM out west throug a VPN. The issue I am having is logging into Call pilot the default 0000 is not working and no one knows the password. Is there a may to reset it from my end through unified manager or only by F985 and resetting it the old way?

I have not one on site to do this for me.

Thank you the problem is I am VPN connected to a system that is 400 miles away. I have no one on site to f985. I was woundering if there is a way I can reset it through unfied manager or something like that.

if I have a sight 400 miles away I never leave the password default...been there.

Having said that I have instructred endusers over the phone to do this procedure without even letting them know what they are doing(the receptionist is always a good canidate)

Use an IP soft phone.

I always use the 2050 softphone, but you need an IP Keycode loaded at that site.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Every BCM comes with 1 freee IP client. Shouldn't be an issue.
