Resetting a VM Password on a NORSTAR Voice Mail M7234

I have reset the password on my Norstar office phone (Meridian7234) Now when I go into the System Admin (feature 983) to change the default password to my own password it will not recognize my extension as a valid mailbox. I also looked up my mailbox in the directory, but when I selected okay it still said Invalid Mailbox.Help!!!

M7234 is a model number of the phone.
Your issue is with voice mail, not the phone.

If you are reception then try mailbox 10, 100 or 1000 as those are the "General Delivery" mailbox numbers depending if you have 2, 3 or 4 digit DN's (ext's)
You can tell a mailbox to be associated with any DN you want, we often tell the GD mailbox to be associated with the reception set.
