What's the right way to reset a port that hit cp-limit?

I had accidentally setup a network loop, but have since corrected the problem. The only issue is that the ports that were downed due to cp-limit won't come back up again. As such, I have moved the GBICs to new ports and it's working again. However, I'd like to reset the old ports so they can be used again in the future.

I have tried:

conf eth 1/3 state dis
conf eth 1/3 state en

but no luck.

Thanks,
Tony

I'd have thought that would have reset the port... what does show port info all 1/3 yeild?
