I am reusing some 2410 sets and don't know how to clear the previous extension from the programming. There doesn't seem to be a log off feature so that I can log in the new location's extension.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

press mute then type clear (2537)

You cannot clear a digital phone and also not logoff the extension with *36 :)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Not if the user is not a hotdesk user :)
I think mute or hold codes do not work on digital phones ( i never tried to be honest)

The mute commands only work on IP phones, the 2410 are dumb terminals and there is no configuration stored in the phone.
So you cant "clear" them with a command because there is nothing to clear.

If it ain't dutch it ain't much
