Reseting the D308 back to defualt no pass 2

Does anyone know how to reset the D308 back to default new client and I don't have the password it appears there is no swithch on it to preform a clear option and I can't find any info on the docs any ideas?

Caution: this will completely erase all user data and restore the TD308 to factory defaults!

From the phone plugged into the first station port:

Do not lift handset.

press PROGRAM *##*308*#

press 'autodial/store' to reset all data.

The system will completely reset all user data and the password will be 1234. All user programming will be erased.

Excellent that worked great, but the user data was still there and I was able to see the exsisting password thanks alot big time saver.

I'm surprised the user data was still there. You must have bypassed the 'reset' step. Clearly we both picked up something new on this one!
