Guys, is it possible to reset the password for a 4.1 system? Currently no SWA active?

Will it be enough to simply remove the file and reboot, or will I have to contact support as well?

Cheers,

Daniel

Try ResetAllLoginPasswords using correct case from a shell (RS232 into maintenance port)

Hmmm...I've done it on my 4.2 system so I know it works......was that port 2002 or straight into shell? I honestly can't remember which I used but it definitely worked.(or maybe my memory is failing and it was a post 5.0 system.

Reset maintenance commands are from 5.0 onwards I'm sure.
I think deleting the db file from 4.1 should work but doesn't in 4.2

I think from memory 4.1 is the Problem version
below it and you can delete the file and reboot
above it and you can use the command

Pretty sure you have to use Mitel to recover the password on 4.1

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
