I am responding to a potential clients request to reset their users password in LDAP, via their helpdesk system. In your experience, can you advise if there is a utility, script, etc that can:

1) can be run from windows command line
2) accept arguments ( such as username, new password value )
3) and change the password, based on the above point?

Your assistance is much appreciated!!

LDAP browser can do this - you can download one for free...
also - iLash tool ( this one runs from windows command line ) & u can even write your own Java/Perl utility.
