Reset unread message counter

We have one Exchange 2003 mailbox that has errors in the unread message counter. (it reads 57 unread messages when all have been read)

(It got that way because of a known Outlook bug with Outlook 2000 that causes this to happen when two clients routinely connect to the same mailbox at the same time.)

But this is beside the point.
I am trying to fix the issue.
Any ideas how to reset the unread message counter?

This is a SERVER side issue.
Running ISINTEG does not solve the issue.

Any ideas?

How many times did you run ISINTEG? It needs to be run continually until it either comes up with no errors or until it comes up with consistent errors.
