You need to have your computer configured for RMX.
Make sure you have copied the TVI910.kbd file from your 9006 support disk to your base Procomm directory. Fire up Procomm and go into setup. For terminal type TVI910 change the keyboard definition file to TVI910.kbd
Set up your terminal for 4800, E, 7, 1 protocol (if not 4800, 9600, but I'm pretty comfy with 4800 being right) and TVI910 for terminal type.
Connect straight thru serial cable to front of processor card. (if you connect to the ports on the motherboard on the bottom inside of the cabinet you need a null-modem adapter).
You should see a line of #### across the screen, that is your "login" prompt. Hit CTRL-T to login. When you are done use CTRL-X to logout.
You cannot backspace out errors in this communication mode.

That said, you can use the same AMO's you use for direct AMO or the fast-path codes you use in the EMML. You just have to hyphenate the action word and the command such as DIS-SCSU, etc....
To deactivate unix, do DEA-XAPC unit is A1 you should be able to finish with a semicolon ; for the next prompt. Give it plenty of time to go down and settle (3 - 5 minutes). You should see a red error light on the CBX Monitor (if you ahve one) once the system is all the way down.
To activate unix do ACT-XAPC unit is A1 the next prompt is BASE. DO NOT USE BOOT!!! I think the name of the prompt is "system". You can end with a semicolon after BASE.
It will take several minutes for unix to come back up and settle down. Usually after the red light goes out on the CBX Monitor you are OK.
Hopefully this is what you're trying to achieve.
