In GP 8 on sql Server!

I have a trouble With the security. some time in the SOP midule, GP juste shut close and say you don't have access to this, I'm sure it's beacuse I change the security setting with the basic windows and after i modify this again with the advence security utility.

Is there anyway to reset everything, in one shot put to default...

I have run a check link and i keep doing this bug

Are you running any 3rd party modules?

I have Wennsoft installed and have issues with the Customer Maintenance window flipping between the original and Wennsoft alternate version.

We don't know why, but have just educated the users to tell us when the version has switched again.

Use Advanced Security (Tools >> Setup >> System >> Advanced Security).

From Advanced Security you can:

1) Revert a user/company entity back to default security. That is access granted to all original resources (with the exception of the Advanced Lookup alternate windows).

2) Verify a user/company entity to make sure the Security settings are all valid and refer to resources that do exist.

3) Turn on the Interactive dialogs which will identify the resources you are denied to and allow it to be fixed on the fly (assuming you are using a System Password).

The Interactive Dialogs are turned on using the Advanced Security option "Allow Security override using the system password".

Hope this helps
