Reset recordnumber

I have a report where I have specified to start a new page after the group footer for Customers. I want to number the detail lines for each customer - is there a way that I can reset the recordnumber counter for each new page?

Sort by date Sort by votes
Add a running total field. Choose any one of your fields to summarize and choose the type of summary as count. Choose to evaluate on change of record and reset on change of group. Place the field at the beginning of each detail line and you should get the results that you want.

Thanks - I thought I had to use a numerical field for a running total! Guess not - that worked.
