Hey all, I know it is frowned upon to post the so called "Back door" passwords for these systems (and I whole heartedly agree with it), however, I have a situation that I need assistance with.

I installed a Partner VM module 7.0 for one of my customers last year. I created a password for them and left them the info. Now I got a call from them wanting to change the Auto attendant message, but they can't get in...the password doesn't work now. I stopped in and what I had made it is no longer working...I tried everything you can think of, the default, etc., nothing. My guess is someone was playing around with it and changed it somehow, on accident or on purpose, who knows.

First, I am going over today, will this procedure work for me as explained in this thread

If not, can I speak with someone outside of this site to rectify my issue?

Thanks.

Is the voicemail in question a Partner Mail or an Avaya Partner Messaging? The procedure discussed in the other thread is for the Partner Mail (a unit that is wall-mounted near the telephone carrier chasis). It won't work on the Avaya Partner Messaging (the voicemail module that is inserted into the carrier).

The only way to reset a lost Admin password for the Avaya Partner Messaging is via the hidden password.
