How to reset password for CallPilot administration account 000000
i have tried below mention procedure,still i am not able to login to cpmgr
1. Log into "Distributor" Support Tools on the CallPilot Server
2. Start -> Programs -> CallPilot -> System Utilities -> Support Tools
3. From the main menu, select (9) Database Utilities
4. From the Database Utilities menu, select (3) Database API Utility
5. At the CI> prompt, type resetadminpwd and press <Enter>
6. At the CI> prompt, type quit. This will close the API Utility
7. In the main menu, press <Enter>, then select (1) to exit.
The default Administration mailbox 000000 password will be reset to 124578.

How did you try to reset the password?. You should only try it via hooking to a Keyboard, Monitor and Mouse etc. It won't work via Remote Desktop Connection using the standard method.

However, I think it is possible if you try the following method.

For Call Pilot systems release 3 and 4? That can use RDC, I’ve found that you can access RDC via the command line using “mstsc.exe /console”.

e.g.
C:\Documents and Settings\Nortel>mstsc.exe /console

For Call Pilot release 5, I think you now need to use mstsc.exe /admin..

Enter in the IP details, Server account and password as normal to login. The big difference when using this method is that you will be able to view the MAS Trace Window. This isn’t available when using standard RDC login.

I have connected keybord and mouse to CP card and tried,it is not working

Are you logging in using the correct password for release 4.0?. Each version of Call Pilot has a different distributor password.

Are you certain that you have a Call Pilot at release 4.0?. When entering in the password, are you making sure that you don't have any spaces in the password?.
