Reset Option 11 Pasword to default 1

What is the procedure to reset the password on an option 11 to default?

i dont think there is any way by yourself...nortel can login and retrieve the passwords for you ...

other than that you can reinstall the software ..if that is an option

I have the same problem, how I reinstall the software
I only have an SSC with a doughter board

You need a PCMCIA card with the correct software on it (can be downloaded from Nortel - may have to get from vendor with access). You will also need key codes that match the software and the security dongle.

Then, you reboot with PCMCIA card in A, Hit "cntl I" when asked, select new install from software delivery card

do a new install from the pcamia, with keycodes and dongle. password defaults to 0000 and re enter all data. or call nortel and prepay 2200 for them to do it. and you must prove that you bought your software from nortel. johnp
