If a reset is run on a card in slot 3 of a Merlin system (100 PRI card is in the slot) will that erase all of the programming for the board?

A client was poking around and ran a busy command then a reset command trying to fix a PRI issue...now the circuit appears to be down.

I had them power cycle but no luck.

TIA

it is probably now maintenance busied. Go to maintenance menu, slot and status to check.

Would it remain in maintenance busy after a power cycle?

If so how can I release it back to service?

TIA,
SJF

Yes, it could. Go to the maint menu on the console, choose slot, dial slot number, choose status to see if it is busied out. If it is, choose restore to restore it from busy. Of course this can be done remotely using Winspm. If you do not have access to Winspm, call the site, have the console operator choose (on her phone) Menu, Maintenance, Slot, dial 3 Enter, Status. Read the display to you. If the Maintenance busy field is yes, then he/she presses back, and then chooses Restore, then Yes. Hope this helps.
