Reset Netscape 4.79 as Default

Folks,
Is there any way of making 4.79 my default browser without uninstalling and
re-installing it again?

If this has been previously answered, point me to those replies. I did a keyword
search, but only came up with how to make IE the default.

Try this. Find out where the 4.79 application is located on your hard drive. Remember the path and file name. Then, double-click on Network Neighborhood, click on View -> Options, then click on the File Types tab. Scroll down to "HTML Document" and highlight it. Click on the Edit button. Highlight Open in the Actions section and click on the Edit button. In the "Application used to perform action:" field, enter the path and file name (might be easier to "Browse" for it) of the 4.79 application. Click on the OK buttons until the dialog boxes are closed. That should do it.
