Reset memory

I have Coral SL system, It don't start:

CHECKING PROG-MEM

PROG-MEM IS O.K


For SERVICE/SOFTWARE installation menu HIT <CTRL I> NOW
*************************
CHK RAM
END CHK RAM
--------
and without end.

Is it possible to clear memory by removing lithium battery located on the MCP card? If yes, how long it should be removed?

Any other tips to solve my problem?

It's not quite as simple as that. There are a series of commands to run to clear the memory. I can't remember off the top of my head but will have a look for some docs on it. Best bet is to contact a Tadiran reseller.

From memory you flip one of the dipswitches on the MCP, turn it on, you'll get a prompt on the screen, and type in 3-4 commands to reset the memory.

It depends on what type of processor you have...let me know if it is a MEX/Sl, etc and I'll get you the specifics
